Responsibilities : Payroll Processing

  • Process multi-state bi-weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Create and run detailed post-payroll reports on bi-weekly basis.
  • Track and administer payment of bonus reward plans.
  • Reconcile monthly invoicing and billing of benefit plans against payroll deductions.

HRIS & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate employee and pay information in Paylocity (HRIS).
  • Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS and generate reports as required to support payroll, benefits, and compliance initiatives.
  • Perform routine internal audits of HRIS and payroll files.
  • Document procedures to streamline and standardize process and procedure.
  • Tax & Legal Compliance

  • Manage all local, state, and federal tax requirements, including account setup, quarterly tax filing, and end-of-year W-2 reporting.
  • Ensure payroll processing complies with all applicable law and compliance.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on actions.
  • HR Operations

  • Administer and track all employee leave requests, including FMLA, parental leave, and other leaves ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Serve as the primary contact for employees providing guidance on eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes while maintaining accurate HRIS records.
  • Manage worker’s compensation claims from claim submission to resolution, collaborating with employees, managers, and insurance carriers. Support annual worker’s compensation policy renewal.
  • Respond to and manage unemployment claims.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    Requirements : Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience :

  • 1 year experience processing multistate payroll required.
  • 2 years related human resources operations experience (compliance, leave management, etc.).
  • Experience in Paylocity payroll and time / attendance software preferred.
  • Skills / Abilities :

  • Experience using human resource management systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to work accurately and confidently with both numbers and highly sensitive and confidential information is required.
  • Strong drive and the ability to self-motivate in the face of multiple priorities while managing time efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, or similar platforms).
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills.
  • High degree of professionalism; able to deal with extremely confidential information.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – loves to be challenged, determined to win, puts clients and teammates first, collaborative, inquisitive, self-motivated, and operates on trust (not fear).
  • High integrity – trusted, direct, truthful. Embodies confidence and admits mistakes.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to : stationary work 90% of the time using a computer and applicable office equipment.

    Pay Range : 57,900 - $76,100
