What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at Roers?
As a Leasing Agent, you are passionate about being customer-focused, making a positive impact, able to multi-task, and having a “can-do” attitude. We are looking for a genuine, fun-loving, motivated, and driven team member to join the Roers team.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Follow and demonstrate Roers’ Core Values of Respect, Opportunity, Partnership, Experience, Expertise, and Community when working with team members, customers, and our external communities.
- Answer phones in a professional timely manner
- The primary objective is to lease the community to 100% occupancy through aggressive marketing techniques and to achieve a closing ratio of 100%
- Responding to all leasing emails generated through our website or other platforms.
- Effectively show prospects units and articulate the benefits of living at the property to various prospects including students and parents.
- Provide premier customer service to all residents.
- Assist in resident retention programs and events.
- Accepts maintenance requests from residents and submits them to the manager and/or maintenance staff.
- Maintains database of prospective and current residents.
- Maintains traffic logs of tours, telephone calls, information requests, etc.
- Completes market competition studies.
- Performs all other duties and requests as directed by supervisors.
Other Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license/clean driving record.
- Flexibility to show units at varying times and locations throughout the day and week including weekends and evenings.

Education/Experience:
- Hourly pay plus bonus incentive
- High School Diploma or ideally working toward 4-year degree.
- Prefer previous sales or leasing and customer service experience.
