Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain inventory control for automotive parts, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding parts availability and specifications.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions and track sales.
- Assist customers in identifying the right parts for their vehicles, providing expert advice when necessary.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms for parts procurement.
- Organize parts storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts needed for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and sales transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive parts environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and parts identification.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Proficient in inventory control practices and sales management techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
