Position Summary
The Operations Project Manager will lead operational improvement projects and larger maintenance activities. This role is responsible for managing complex system project tasks, including scope definition, contractor selection and management, and project scheduling. The Operations Project Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and Operations Managers / Supervisors to ensure project success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Scope definition
Project estimatingProject schedulingProject executionDevelop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to contractors for labor and full project scope.Evaluate contractor proposals and manage contractor performance on-site.Coordinate onsite work with the Operations Team and develop integrated project schedules.Manage project budgets and provide regular updates to the Operations Management Team.Collaborate with engineering disciplines for scope development, definition, and proposal review.Work with Farm Operators to coordinate project work and ensure biosecurity compliance.Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).Understand and enforce Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.Perform pre-delivery inspections on fabricated, pre-assembled, and unitized system designs.Conduct site construction completeness inspections and review non-destructive test reports.Assist in plant operator training and oversee the issuance of as-built drawings and project turnover packages.Travel domestically and internationally (5-20% annually) to support project installations and startups.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across all company locations.Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with company policies.Other Duties & Responsibilities

Work is performed in both an office setting and uncontrolled environments.Potential exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, uneven terrain, and varying weather conditions.Travel to job sites may be required, including international locations with varying accommodations.Employees must adhere to all safety standards and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Physical Demands
Regularly required to walk, stand, grip, handle materials, reach, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.Must maintain a state of alertness and safety awareness at all times.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) preferred.5-7 years of experience in Operations Maintenance required.Strong understanding of facility mechanical systems and equipment.Experience specifying pumps, blowers, compressors, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.Knowledge of piping materials and component applications.Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based programs.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within budget.Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.Must be at least 21 years old.Must adhere to company core values and maintain professional relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.At Roeslein, we invest in our team members' success and well-being.
