Position Summary: The Project Scheduler position is responsible for performing project controls work on multiple engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules to align with project goals and deadlines.
- Provide enterprise-wide scheduling and reporting.
- Support Project Managers and Project Coordinators by building and maintaining baseline schedules, including resource planning and cost analysis.
- Identify scheduling risks, track project progress, and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Integrate schedules from multiple projects for a company-wide overview.
- Create design-build schedules and ensure smooth coordination with project teams.
- Train and mentor project teams on scheduling tools and best practices.
- Assist in project planning, including estimating, forecasting, and cost control.
- Generate reports and performance metrics for management review.
- Work with manufacturing facilities to coordinate fabrication schedules and resource planning.
- Travel domestically and internationally (20-30% per year).
- Foster strong working relationships across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company requirements.

Skills/Knowledge/Ability/Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project scheduling experience, preferably supporting engineering or construction teams.
- A degree is not required, but a bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera, Microsoft Project, or other project management software (required).
- Experience creating and managing design-build schedules is a plus.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and experience with web-based applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A team player with problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
