The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the weekly payroll for 150 employees as well as supporting the HR Manager with benefits administration. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in weekly payroll processing for 150 employees, have experience working in the construction industry, and be comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and process weekly Payroll
- Manage full cycle payroll operations
- Work on Payroll documentation and data in Excel spreadsheets
- Support the HR Manager with benefits administration
- Participate in special projects, and other duties, as requested
Requirements:
- 4 years of full cycle payroll processing experience
- Construction industry experience
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently, and prioritize duties to meet
company deadlines
- Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information required
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and/or problems simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel and other technical skills
