What You’ll Do:
Daily Job Site Setup and Maintenance
- Independently prepare work areas, set up ladders, and organize tools efficiently to maximize workflow and safety under the direction of the Crew Leader or Field Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site throughout the day, ensuring materials are disposed of properly and workspaces are ready for ongoing tasks, including the upkeep of an on-site shop area.
Perform Skilled Carpentry and Finishing Tasks
- Execute all aspects of carpentry prep and finishing, including framing, trim work, sanding, caulking, priming, and precise installation of hardware.
- Work confidently on various structural and decorative elements, from windows and doors to fascia and shutters, delivering a high-quality, professional finish.
Support and Maintenance
- Ensure company trucks are clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary tools and materials for each project.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to guarantee safety and efficiency, reporting any issues and ensuring that all tools and equipment are used and stored correctly.
Commitment to Quality and Safety
- Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to dress code requirements and maintaining a clean, presentable appearance.
- Engage in ongoing training and safety seminars, proactively improving skill sets and staying informed of industry best practices.
