Position SummaryThe Junior Agent will support the firm's growth by assisting in new client acquisition, servicing existing accounts, and learning the foundations of financial services and client relationship management. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to grow within the industry under mentorship and structured guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior advisors in preparing client presentations, financial plans, and case design
- Schedule and follow up on client appointments, ensuring timely communication and preparation
- Help gather and organize client data through fact-finding interviews and documentation review
- Learn and help submit insurance and investment applications, monitor underwriting progress
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the advisor, providing proactive client care and support
- Stay updated on product knowledge, financial trends, and licensing requirements
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM (e.g., Redtail) and help with compliance documentation
- Attend internal training, industry webinars, and client events as needed
- Support marketing efforts, including outreach and prospect follow-up (optional)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Business, Economics, or related field)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and virtual meeting platforms
- Must be able to obtain or already possess a life & health insurance license
- Series 6/63 or 65/66 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
