SUMMARY
Perform general accounting duties dealing with the daily flow of cash in and out of the stores and payments that come into the home office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bank Reconciliations - 70 Locations
- Account Reconciliations - Health Insurance, Gift Certificates, Accrued Interest, etc.
- NSF checks
- Daily Calculation of Available Cash
- Bank Related Journal Entries
- Personal Property Filings and Payments
- Utility Bill Management and Accruals
- Reporting Unclaimed Property
- File and Track Business Licenses
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in Accounting and / or with Banking
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Accounting Courses
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Excel, Word, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables is a plus
OTHER SKILLS
Also requires great interpersonal skills as this position communicates to 70 locations, including governmental agencies in which these locations reside.
