Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting parts and materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience with route driving and heavy lifting. Duties
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload parts, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in the yard with cleaning and other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience pulling a trailer is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of parts (up to 50 pounds).
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technicians.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with company policies.
