Asphalt Paver Operator- Knoxville, TN

Rogers Group is seeking an Asphalt Paver Operator for our road construction crew based out of Knoxville, TN. Candidates will need to be familiar and experienced operating equipment such as: Rake/Lute, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Broom, Asphalt Roller, Asphalt Screws/Screed, Paver.
The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating a Paver and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Operate paver with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
