The Asphalt Milling Laborer is responsible for assisting in the milling process of asphalt surfaces in preparation for resurfacing or removal. This position involves working closely with machinery and a crew to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality milling work on roads, parking lots, or other paved surfaces.
The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to :
- Assist with the removal and disposal of milled asphalt and debris.
- Perform manual labor tasks as directed, including loading and unloading milling material, assisting with traffic control, and preparing the worksite.
- Self-motivated individual must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
