We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
Rogers Group is seeking an Asphalt Paver Operator for our road construction crew based out of Knoxville, TN. Candidates will need to be familiar and experienced operating equipment such as : Rake / Lute, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Broom, Asphalt Roller, Asphalt Screws / Screed, Paver.
The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating a Paver and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Responsibilities that include but are not limited to :
- Operate paver with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
- Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
- Effective communication skills applicable to position.
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
