Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking Asphalt Laborers to join our East TN asphalt paving crew based out of Athens / Sweetwater, TN. This individual will be responsible for tasks around the jobsite involving general manual labor related to paving asphalt. This individual will work on various construction projects that may require extended hours including some nights / weekends.
The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to :
- Smooths freshly poured asphalt, shovels asphalt, or other materials.
- Pushes and pulls asphalt rake to level asphalt to fine grade specifications.
- Self-motivated individual must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
- Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include site clean-up, using a rake / shovel, flagging, and other duties as assigned
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
