We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
Rogers Group is seeking a Groundman / Laborer for our quarry operation located in Dayton, TN.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- General plant / mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operations
- Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times
- Report equipment problems and identify them to management
- Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines
- Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
- Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer
- Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable
