Rogers Group is seeking an individual to fill our position as an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for our Reostone Quarry, located in Nashville, TN . The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and / or articulating haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operate rigid frame and / or articulating haul trucks to haul rock to the crusher for production.
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Previous experience operating rigid or articulated frame haul trucks.
• Previous experience operating other pieces of heavy equipment – dozer, wheel loader, skid steer, and track hoe – preferred.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties as needed / directed.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
