Pay : Starting at $29.00 per hour. Candidates may be eligible for higher base pay depending on experience and skill set.
Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a ROLLER OPERATOR to join our Western Kentucky Construction asphalt paving crew based out of HOPKINSVILLE, KY . This individual will be responsible for operating asphalt roller equipment to help pave asphalt and work on various construction projects that may require extended hours including some nights / weekends.
The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to :
- Smooths freshly poured asphalt using roller equipment.
- Self-motivated individual must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
- Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include site clean-up, using a rake / shovel, flagging, and other duties as assigned
- Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
- Work road construction in high traffic areas including some experience with MUTCD traffic control.
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
