We are seeking an entry level Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll support architects by creating detailed architectural drawings utilizing BIM software(s) and assisting with project development. This role involves applying architectural techniques and technical skills to small projects or portions of large projects, will provide experience in conducting code and material research, and requires an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
In this role you will
- Research and review building codes, regulations, and technical criteria to inform architectural designs.
- Create 3D models and renderings. Generate presentation graphics using software like Revit, Photoshop, Lumion, and SketchUp.
- Help prepare technical drawings and construction documents using Revit, including plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical.
- Collect existing site / building information and model existing conditions.
- Assist in maintaining and progressing project files as well as organizing and archiving project documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
