This Role
The Rogers Lowell Chamber is seeking a dynamic and skilled Marketing and Communications professional to develop and execute strategic brand messaging that promotes the Chamber’s events, programs, and initiatives to both the public and our membership. This role will ensure that members and key audiences stay informed while driving engagement across multiple communication channels. This position plays a key role in supporting the Chamber’s Marketing Communications initiatives to drive engagement with internal and external brand audiences including curating content and producing creative design for all media channels, managing content updates for web and social media, and coordinating production for digital assets as required for creative projects and the Chamber’s events and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics projects on time and on budget. Contribute to all technical aspects of desktop publishing for collateral, newsletters, brochures, magazines, presentations, websites, and videos.
- Manage content and design updates to the Chamber’s websites and blogs.
- Assist with pre-production for creative assets including securing/producing sponsor logos in the right file formats, loading digital assets in CRM/CMS and organizing assets in the Chamber’s digital library.
- Document Marketing Communications team’s member contacts in CRM to create a record of marketing communications support for retention purposes.
- Assist with creating content for weekly eNews and sub-brands’ email campaigns.
- Ensure the continuity of Chamber’s branding, style and voice in all communications. This includes all Chamber’s sub-branded events, programs and destination sales and marketing initiatives.
- Track media trade and other advertising (online and offline) campaigns to ensure advertising support is produced timely and accurately.
- Assist the team with creative design projects.
- Collaborate with Membership Services team to produce compelling sales collateral.
- Coordinate internal printing projects, e.g., signage and collateral deliverables.
- Organize and maintain design project files.
- Stay current on industry best practices for communications and design and maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry changes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training in communications, marketing and project management.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are necessary.
- Solid administrative, organization and strategic thinking skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and in a group setting, take initiative.
- Ability to multi-task, be action-oriented and meet deadlines are required.
- Demonstrated and proven skills in advertising, marketing, and communications including web development and social media.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of members or employees of organizations.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Proficiency in member management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
