Job Summary:
Rogers Centralia seeks a highly experienced Team Manager. This Manager is responsible for daily order fulfillment, staging of product for the operations teams, managing receiving and stowing materials. They prepare schedules, train and manage Warehouse Associates, develop SOPs, monitor for accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide mission critical equipment and components to industries though materials support to manufacturing and service organizations.
- Promote a safe, clean and organized warehouse following 5S and Lean manufacturing principals.
- Build and sustain a high performing team. Responsible for development of team members including interviewing, training and disciplinary actions, as well as development and performance management.
- Lead and participate in daily meetings with internal teams.
Additional Job Duties:
- Meet Rogers Machinery’s program expectations for availability, problem-solving and customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills:
- Forklift operation (training available)
- Familiarity with international shipping and regulations
- Working knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing
Required Skills
- Detail-oriented
- Min 3 years Management background
- Well versed in operational excellence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Positive customer relations
- Good communicator and listener
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks
Physical Demands:
- Work at assigned workstation plus be active on the shop floor and within the warehouse.
