- Assists superintendent in executing all scheduled installation activities with labor subcontractors to ensure highest level of quality and construction practices are being performed in a safe and timely manner
- During normal working hours responds to all incoming phone calls and emails received on a company issued iPhone or iPad in a timely manner, i.e., immediately, if safety is not a concern or within 1 hour if in a meeting or on a ladder
- Responsible for maintaining clean work areas daily. Coordinates effort with subs and superintendent.
- Assists superintendent in organizing job site logistics: deliveries, storage of materials on site, material take-off, etc.
- Works with provided project information files by reviewing the documents and familiarizing oneself with project’s scope, schedule, specifications, drawings, list of suppliers and subs, job specific inclusions and exclusions, equipment lay-out in the building, equipment lead times and expected deliveries, etc.)
- Assists superintendent in maintaining on site documentation such as complete safety documentation, daily reports, as-built drawings, inspections, commissioning forms, punch list documentation
- Communicates job progress by submitting written daily reports (email), verbally by meeting with superintendent
- Required to travel between multiple projects depending on job site conditions and schedule
- Assists superintendent in tracking performance of all HVAC subcontractors on site
- Follows company’s QC/QA/safety procedures and assists superintendent in implementing, executing, and tracking all jobsite specific activities related to QC/QA/Safety
- Responsible for avoiding and mitigating risks related to this job description by being proactive and focused
- Reviews and follows engineered drawings and specifications to ensure compliance of installation work with such. Notes and communicates any concerns to superintendent.
- Requests information from superintendent or general contractor in a written or verbal form in a timely manner to assist superintendent in recognizing any possible grey areas in scope and avoiding risk exposure.
- Reviews control drawings to understand control scope of work including sequence of operations
- Coordinates with controls and startup to ensure optimal project efficiency
- Maintains safety documentation and inspections per superintendent’s request
- Attends all job site inspections and job meetings
- The AS is the first one to arrive and last one to leave the job site
- Being on time is a requirement
- Clean and accurate documentation – Daily reports, safety documentation
- Effectiveness of internal and external communications
- Timeliness in execution of all assigned tasks
- Ability to assist superintendent in daily operations

- Trade School preferred
- 1 -3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
