Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST IS NOT INCLUSIVE)
- Learn and support HVAC control system installation, service, and troubleshooting.
- Perform assigned maintenance and repair tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
- Aid in commercial HVAC systems' service and preventative maintenance, including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, and chillers.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and project plans to complete tasks efficiently.
- Support the review and interpretation of control drawings and project scope of work.
- Travel to job sites as needed for training and job assignments.
- Ensure work is completed within safety guidelines and attend all safety meetings.
- Maintain job site cleanliness and follow instructions given by onsite leadership.
- Assist in maintaining job materials and tool inventory.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and terminology.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment needed for HVAC and controls work.
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills in a commercial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and control system drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work approach.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- EPA Universal certification is required.
- Preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in an HVAC, controls, or low voltage wiring-related role.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
- Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
