Description
The Controls Installer II is responsible for managing and implementing DDC’s while understanding control system schematics, control wiring, control components, HVAC systems and HVAC unit startups as needed. Rogers Mechanical Contractor’s (“RMC”, “Company”) Controls Installer II will direct, monitor, and inspect work being performed while conducting day to day project activities. Will submit necessary Daily Work Reports and attend jobsite meetings as directed by Installation Manager. The Controls Installer II is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and trade partners. Travel is required.

Requirements
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)
- Monitor jobsite work being performed.
- Interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
- Meet DDC’s startup deadlines and inform Installation Manager of any issues.
- Maintain inventory and cleanliness of company provided vehicle.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures of Rogers Mechanical Contractors and General Contractors.
- Must be able available to work after hours, weekends as project schedule requires.
- Attend jobsite meetings as required by Installation Manager.
- Attend each Safety Meeting as required.
- Submit Daily Work Reports.
- HVAC unit startups as needed.
- Working knowledge of HVAC Direct Digital Controls function and operations.
- Proficient in reading schematics and mechanical prints.
- Relevant policies and procedures for installation and maintenance of DDC’s.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on HVAC systems.
- Ability to safely work at elevations such as roofs, scissor lifts and ladders.
- Excellent written, verbal and listening interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
- Time management and Organizational skills.
- Must be able to travel to other site locations as required.
