The FP&A Analyst will support key financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data visualization. Requirements
- Budgeting Support: Assist in coordinating the annual budgeting process, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and analysis.
- Forecasting and Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting activities.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze budget, actual, and forecast variances, identifying key drivers and trends to share with stakeholders.
- Reporting and Visualization: Collaborate with the FP&A team to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, utilizing Power BI to create dashboards and data visualizations.
- Data Management: Support the consolidation and analysis of financial and operational data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making for senior leadership.
- Process Improvements: Assist in identifying and implementing process and system improvements to enhance FP&A efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, nested functions, etc.).
- Familiarity with financial planning software such as Adaptive by Workday or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams.
- Experience in private equity, consulting, or investment banking environments.
- Exposure to financial reporting and data visualization tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CFA, CPA, or progress towards them.
