What are the responsibilities and job description for the People Services Coordinator position at Rogers-O'Brien Construction?
The People Services Coordinator is responsibe for assisting with Recruiting, Benefits, Onboarding of new employees, and maintenance of employment law compliance and general HR administration of People Services for Rogers-O'Brien Construction.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Assist recruiting team source for candidates, schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate database and actively track candidate interview times and comments from hiring managers.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating University Career Fairs
- Assist Manager of People Services in developing ways to improve policies, procedures, and forms.
- Perform Internal Department Audits to ensure compliance.
- Assist with the annual employee assessment program.
- Provide open door policy for employees to come with issues, then direct or guide them to the next step.
- Assists in evaluating jobs, preparing job descriptions, conducting internal and external surveys to compile information, and analyzing information for reports and presentations.
- Maintain personnel records and ensures file compliance with federal, state and local employment, benefit and regulation laws.
- Assist with planning and collaboration across departments on the company orientation and onboarding experience.
- Assist with coordination of training session events including reservation of rooms, ordering of food and beverages.

- Assist with the New Hire onboarding process.
- Assist with conducting the orientation and onboarding process of hourly and salaried personnel, and set up all employees electronically, including distribution of documents.
- Set up employee portal including audit of employee data
- Manage and track surveys, including 90 day and annual employee surveys.
Education
- No degree is required.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of Human Resources Experience or equivalent Human Resources education
- 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Excel - Intermediate Excel user
