What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Tech Intern position at Rogers Schools Administration Building?
The Rogers Public School District/Technology Department is looking for enthusiastic and reliable students in grades 9-12 to join our team as Summer Tech Crew!
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Helping with the transportation of technology equipment between school buildings.
- Removing outdated technology equipment, including desktops, phones, printers, projectors, and interactive whiteboards.
- Unboxing, tagging, and staging new equipment such as Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, and other technology devices for inventory and deployment.
- Assisting with setting up classrooms by organizing and installing technology in preparation for the start of the school year.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to:
Work in an office and school environment.
Stand or sit for extended periods.
Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Climb ladders.
Carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.
Operate office equipment, including computers and keyboards, requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination.
Communicate effectively verbally to exchange information.
