POSITION SUMMARY:
The Admissions/Enrollment Counselor for the Bartlesville Campus is responsible to guide students through the various admissions requirements and enrollment process. This position will be responsible to maintain knowledge in academic advisement for current and prospective students. This position will report to the Director of the Bartlesville Campus.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Provides information in academic areas to prospective students;
- Serves as lead concurrent advisor, advising concurrently enrolled high school students;
- Responsible for being lead on admissions procedures;
- Administers placement and proctored testing center;
- Active in recruitment efforts in Washington County;
- Coordinates and attends local high schools' application and enrollment days;
- Lead with high school personnel regarding college days and activities;
- Maintains confidential students records and office files
- Assists in the supervision of student workers;
- Assist in organization and implementation of student activities on Bartlesville campus;
- Assist in updating all social media platforms for the Bartlesville Campus;
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Bartlesville Campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree;
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree;
- 3-5 years' experience in higher education;
- Exceptional computer and technical skills;
- Experience in admissions procedures.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Experience in working in a fast-paced office environment;
- Ability to handle multiple projects;
- Self-motivated, flexible and service oriented;
- Strong organizational skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems independently;
- Ability to work as a team leader, as well as team member;
- Ability to be punctual, reliable, and dependable;
- Proficient in MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
REPORTS TO: Director of Bartlesville Campus
HOURS: M-F, 8:00a- 5:00p; Evenings or weekends as necessary
POSITION: Clerical, Full-Time, FLSA Non-Exempt
