Job Summary:

RogersHood Apothecary is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Brewing Lead to oversee the production of our natural herb tinctures. This role requires expertise in herbal brewing processes, FDA-compliant manufacturing, and the ability to lead a production team in creating high-quality, safe, and effective products. The ideal candidate has a strong background leading a team of people, manufacturing documentation, and quality control, with a commitment to sustainability and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of herbal brewing and tincture production.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities adhere to FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Supervise the production team, providing training and guidance to maintain operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and traceability logs.
• Conduct quality checks at all production stages to ensure consistency, potency, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee inventory management of raw herbs, solvents, and other production materials.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Proven experience in manufacturing or production roles with a focus on following recipes or formulas.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, GMP requirements, and manufacturing documentation such as batch records and SOPs.
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Proven experience in herbal brewing, tincture production, or similar roles in natural product manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations for dietary supplements or herbal products, including GMP requirements.
• Hands-on experience with herbal extraction processes, including alcohol- and glycerin-based tinctures.

Work Environment:
