Overview: The Business Reporting Analyst plays a vital role in driving organizational performance and operational excellence by developing and managing critical data insights and data reporting structures. This role is responsible for overseeing key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboard strategies that align with the company’s standards, ensuring a clear and cohesive reporting approach across departments. As a strategic partner to various business units, the Business Reporting Analyst identifies operational challenges, leads process review meetings, and works on innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and accountability.
A key aspect of this role includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement by maintaining data integrity, quality, and security in collaboration with IT. The Analyst will also manage dashboard standards, providing internal and external customers with insightful analytics tools that support decision-making. Additionally, they will initiate and/or manage projects to support the evolving needs of the organization.
This position requires a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with experience in KPI strategy, data governance, and project management, combined with an innovative approach to leveraging technology and data for meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Management: Lead the vision and strategy for organizational KPIs, ensuring they align with operational standards and support accountability. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement for performance indicators, enhancing monitoring and measurement of critical activities to drive operational excellence.
- Dashboard Management: Define and implement a dashboard strategy, maintaining a cohesive style guide to ensure consistency. Support both internal and external customers with dashboard development and enhancement needs in a professional services setting.
- Innovation: Lead projects that drive operational innovation and digital transformation, exploring next-generation software solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Data Integrity and Quality: Create a strategic vision that aligns business needs for data efficiency and quality with IT standards for security and integrity, with the ultimate goal of establishing a central data warehouse to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Support for Business Unit Efficiency: Partner with business units to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies, address key challenges, and discover areas for improvement. Lead Business Process Review meetings to drive system enhancements and streamline workflows.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 3 – 5 years relevant work experience. Additional and relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Experience in KPI Development and Management: Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and maintaining KPI strategies, with a proven track record of aligning performance metrics with operational goals.
- Dashboard Development: Proficiency in dashboard creation and management, with experience maintaining style guides and providing dashboard support in a professional services context. Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management experience, particularly in piloting new software solutions, managing change initiatives, or leading innovation projects. PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
- Data Integrity and Quality Standards: Solid understanding of data quality management, data warehousing, and data governance practices. Ability to balance business needs for data availability with IT requirements for security and accuracy.
- Analytical Skills and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies, facilitate business process reviews, and drive system improvements.
- Collaborative and Consultative Approach: Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, streamline workflows, and support continuous process enhancements.

- Previous experience in healthcare or senior living industry preferred but not required.
