Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lab and Clinical Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating and training future certified nursing assistants and healthcare professionals.
Duties:
- Demonstrate and Implement Board-approved curriculum content within clinical sites, lab and classroom settings.
- Instructs and assesses nursing assistant students in a classroom, lab, learning center, or clinical site.
- Represents the program and the college to the community, business, public agencies, and other organizations in a professional manner.
- Works with the Training Service Coordinator to ensure departmental equipment, supplies, and education materials are conducive to teaching and learning.
- Provides a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must hold an active, unencumbered RN or LPN License.
- Must have at least one year of LPN or RN experience.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and online platforms for education delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and mentor students
This is a part-time position with a variable schedule that is dependent on student enrollment. Instructors may be scheduled to teach for a few weeks at a time, followed by periods of inactivity. Work assignments are based on program demand and student registration, and schedules will be communicated in advance whenever possible. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a flexible, part-time teaching position. Classes are held in Josephine and Jackson County.
