Summary
As an Operations Lead at Rogue Industrial Group, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficiency across various functions. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide exceptional service and operational excellence, contributing directly to the success of our team.
Responsibilities
- Requires effective communication skills/computer skills/ ability to work well with others while also taking leadership responsibilities with a sense of urgency and accountability.
- Some weekend and nights required to accommodate industry demand.
- Dot drug testing and background required. Clean driving record is a must.
- Reports directly to Operations manager.
- Must live in Hobbs/ Carlsbad or surrounding areas.
- Keeps direct communication weekly with Operations manager for any issues related with the maintenance, repair, auctioning or rental of vehicles assigned at set locations.
- Schedules repairs or preventative maintenance to keep fleet vehicles in working order.
- Distribute vehicle registration, and insurance; as well as sending appropriate documents to employees.
- Maintain trucks that are in transition to new employees and ensures they are clean, and all maintenance is up to date.
- Ensures vehicles are equipped with the rogue standard tool inventory with quarterly audits and reports findings to Operations manager.
- Conducts vehicle inspections every quarter to ensure vehicles are not smoked in, registrations and oil changes are up to date and there is no unreported damage to the vehicle.
- Works with Operations to attend safety meetings.
- Open and close office when needed.
- Handle phone calls from internal employees and clients.
- Assist with office maintenance and upkeep as needed.
- Assist with upkeep of new facility and helps with office personnel as needed.
- Starting Salary 65-70K / Company Vehicle provided Depending on Experience
- Compensation will also include company cell phone, excellent benefits, matching 401k, dental and eye care, $50,000 Life Insurance, and long term/ short term disability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in inventory management practices is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and partners.
- Familiarity with training development processes is a plus.
- Basic math skills for managing budgets and financial reports.
