Title: SWD Operator
Location: Jal, NM
Candidate Location: Carlsbad, Nm; Monahans Tx, Andrews Tx, Jal NM, Eunice Nm, Kermit Tx, Hobbs Nm, Odessa Tx
Schedule: 10/4 Rotation (10 days on 4 days off)
Hours: 8 to 10-hour days (Rotational Weekend Call Outs Required)
Pay: For this role depends on experience within the range $30-$34/hr
Hierarchy Breakdown:
Reports to: Directly to the Foreman for the area
Works Directly Alongside: All working personnel in his or her field.

Top Focus of this Position:
· Has Knowledge and Understands Oil Field Facilities & SWD’s
SWD Operator will have Knowledge and Ability to Perform the Following:
· Ensure the safe and reliable operation of the SWD facility, including the startup, shutdown, and ongoing management of the Oil Stabilization Units. This encompasses compressors, heaters, coolers, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves, alarms, and other related equipment and control systems.
· Operate the facility through the Delta V DCS system to maintain optimal performance.
· Coordinate and oversee the transfer of liquid and gas products, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with operational standards.
· Utilize analytical equipment to monitor and adjust processes, ensuring oil, NGL, and gas leaving the facility meet product specifications.
· Perform minor maintenance on stabilization unit equipment and report additional repair or maintenance needs to the support staff when necessary.
· Communicate with Operations Control Centers, maintaining seamless operations within the broader system of facilities.
· Generate detailed daily operational reports, including metrics on treated and shipped oil, NGL and gas volumes, and any downtime or curtailments experienced during the reporting period.
· Maintain inventory of consumables, spare parts, and critical equipment to prevent operational interruptions or shortages.
· Adhere to and enforce all applicable safety and environmental regulations, in compliance with company, state, and federal standards.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Will consider candidates with no oilfield experience or some experience in oilfield/SWD.
· Common Sense: Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in the field.
· Roustabout Experience: A plus but not required.
· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with oil and gas production is preferred but not required.
· Adaptability: Capable of working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions and around heavy equipment.
· Teamwork: Proven ability to thrive in team-oriented environments while adhering to company core values.
· Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are required.
