Rogue Valley Door is currently seeking a full time CNC Operator to add to our team. Experience in the wood manufacturing industry is preferred. The starting wage will depend on experience. The start date will be as soon as possible. The schedule is Monday through Thursday 5am to 3:30pm with overtime on Fridays as needed.


The CNC Operator must follow all safety rules and regulations thinking safety first. The CNC Operator will function as a key contributor of the department team focused on safely and effectively producing parts and products that will meet the needs of our customers both internally and externally.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”
  • Turn on machine and home axis
  • Determine next product to run
  • Load pre-made or make program for the product
  • Gather tooling and load it into the machine
  • Set up tables (pod placement or spoil board)
  • Load material/run program
  • Grade final product
  • While next product is running, finish second processes (pinning)
  • Conduct inspection
  • Tag and log product out of the MRP system
  • Stack completed part
  • General duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to proficiently run 3 or more of the different CNC's in the CNC department without assistance
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Great attention to detail
  • Outstanding work ethic
  • Be self-motivated
  • Have a teamwork/positive attitude


Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of wood species
  • Must have ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th
  • Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods
