Overview
As a Grounds Manager at Rogue Valley Manor, you will lead and motivate a team of groundskeepers and support personnel in providing well maintained grounds for the residents and guests of Rogue Valley Manor. You will also be expected to create a positive environment that encourages open communication and a culture of safety. Directly supervise the complete maintenance, repairs, upkeep and improvements of the grounds and surrounding landscapes. And lastly, represent the department as a valuable and key member of the Facilities Services Division.
What you'll do:

What you'll do:
- Oversee and recommends best practices and ensures orderly and safe operations of equipment, supplies of grounds facilities.
- Recommend annual improvements to the grounds and participates in long term planning.
- Responsible for direct supervision of grounds coordinator, grounds trainer, and grounds keepers.
- Recommends and creates operational budget in coordination with the of Director Facility Services which includes annual capital equipment purchases.
- Interview, and ensure proper training of new staff, and recommend the hiring of new employees.
