Practice Supervisor

Rogue Valley Urology in partnership with Dr. Andrew Neeb, Dr. Marta Johnson-Mitchell and Shelly Fitts, PA-C has opened a new urology office in Bend. We are hiring for a full-time Practice Supervisor. The Practice Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the clinic. Want to be a part of a small fun collaborative group while delivering excellent patient care, then this is the job for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Coordinate staff schedules and clinical activities.
• Train and rotate staff through various office duties to ensure cross-coverage.
• Asses staff performance by completing performance reviews at 90 days for new hires and annually on established employees.
• Conduct office staff meetings and huddles regularly.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of office supplies.
• Monitor and control department costs.
• Monitor staff hours and limit overtime.
• Verify time sheets and send to payroll.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate methods to ensure effective and efficient use of staff, facilities, equipment, and other resources while maintaining patient care standards.
• Monitor procedures and make appropriate suggestions and recommendations for improving techniques, policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports for administration as requested.
• Oversee daily deposits.
• Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, patients and other staff members.
• Attend management meetings.

Supervisory Responsibilities include the following:

Carry out supervisory responsibilities, in accordance with Rogue Valley Urology’s policies and applicable state laws. In partnership with the Administrator responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provide a consistent, visible and accessible leadership presence at the clinic and establish a positive working environment. The Practice Supervisor provides expertise and leads by example to ensure all patients receive high quality, safe and efficient care at our clinic. Coordinates with clinic and department leads to ensure optimal operational processes and adherence to organization policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 years medical office experience
• Two years management experience preferred

Computer skills are required and prefer previous electronic medical records experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
