Land Development Project Manager
Lead the development of a large-scale residential neighborhood in central New Jersey, overseeing all aspects of land preparation, infrastructure installation, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendors and contractors to prepare a large site for construction
- Review and understand civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans, and project specifications
- Implement and oversee the development and scheduling process for infrastructure installation, including lot preparation and model home construction
- Meet with jurisdictional officials during construction and inspection
- Ensure accurate project schedule and critical path sequence, identifying and reporting delays
- Communicate key milestones to internal departments and external stakeholders
- Work with subcontractors and manage the bid, review, and award process
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in land development, including site inspections, construction management, budget oversight, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret site plan documents
- Experience with residential projects (single family/multi-family) and working with regulatory agencies and public utilities in New Jersey preferred
