Must-to-Have Skills:
- DevOps Expertise: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Strong experience in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Performance Testing: Proficiency in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to test and optimize system performance. Strong understanding of system performance metrics and bottleneck identification.
- API Testing: Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured. Knowledge of creating automated API test scripts to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure for deploying and managing infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud-native DevOps tools and services.
- Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Groovy. Experience in writing scripts for automation and testing.
- Collaboration and Agile Practices: Strong ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Security Practices: Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure coding practices.
- API Development: Familiarity with API development frameworks such as Spring Boot or Express.js.
- Performance Optimization: Expertise in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in cloud and on-premise systems.
