Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled Remediation Engineer to identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across Windows-based environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong Windows systems administration background, hands-on experience with patching, configuration hardening, and vulnerability remediation using tools like SCCM and Qualys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply security patches and updates to Windows servers and client systems.
• Perform vulnerability remediation based on CVE/CVSS scores.
• Harden system configurations to align with security benchmarks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Create and execute remediation plans for vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with incident response teams during security events.
• Generate vulnerability and remediation progress reports for stakeholders.
• Automate remediation tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools.

Required Skills:

• Strong Windows Server and client OS administration skills.
• Experience with patch management tools (SCCM, WSUS, PatchMyPC).
• Proficiency with vulnerability management tools (Qualys preferred).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, registry-level hardening.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
