Job Description :

We are seeking experienced Performance Testers to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in performance engineering and testing, with expertise in tools like JMeter, Grafana, and Prometheus. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our enterprise systems and cloud-hosted services.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute performance test plans using JMeter to simulate user load and assess system performance.

Utilize monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus to track system performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify bottlenecks.

Work with large-scale enterprise systems / products and cloud-hosted services to conduct performance testing, including Endurance, Stress, and Chaos Testing.

Implement performance testing strategies for Spark jobs, ensuring data processing pipelines are optimized for high performance.

Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvements.

Conduct detailed analysis of performance test results and generate comprehensive reports.

Monitor system performance during tests and identify potential issues with system scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Participate in performance tuning and optimization efforts to enhance system performance.

Ensure adherence to best practices in performance engineering and testing, following Agile methodologies.

Mandatory Skills :

Performance Testing : Extensive experience in performance testing large-scale enterprise systems, including Endurance, Stress, and Chaos Testing.

JMeter : Proficient in using JMeter for designing, developing, and executing performance test plans.

Monitoring Tools : Strong experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus for tracking and analyzing system performance.

Spark Jobs : Hands-on experience with performance testing of Spark jobs, with a focus on optimizing data processing pipelines.

Performance Engineering : Solid understanding of performance engineering principles and practices, particularly in cloud-hosted environments.

Linux : Experience working in Linux cloud environments.

REST API & Microservices : Knowledge of REST API, Microservices architecture, and their performance implications.

Docker & Kubernetes : Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

NoSQL Databases : Experience with NoSQL databases and their performance characteristics.

Functional Programming : Understanding of functional programming practices and their impact on performance.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their performance optimization techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
