Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. (Columbia, MD) is seeking an Application Engineer - Wireless Protocol. Responsibilities include tracking and resolving customer issues and providing technical feedback to the product line to improve current products and define future products.
Minimum Requirements :
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related Engineering field, and 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any related occupation. This includes :
- 3 years’ experience with Python and object-oriented programming
- 3 years’ experience working with mobile communications protocols, including 5G NR, LTE, Physical Layer, Layer 2, RRC, NAS
- 3 years’ experience with data-centric protocols, including TCP / IP, SIP / SDP, RTP, RTCP
Remote work permitted from anywhere in the US. The incumbent will be required to travel 15% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience. Experience may be gained concurrently.
