What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Engineer - DFW Metro Area position at Rohde & Schwarz?
As an Application Engineer based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas major metropolitan area, you will be supporting the sales and marketing channel, demonstrating products, and providing training and application support to our wide-ranging customer base in the vicinity. This position is a remote work role; however, attendance at our office in Coppell will be required occasionally.

The total compensation for this position is $110K-$200K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.

Your tasks
- Technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments
- Pre/Post-sales support, including customer demonstrations
- Support and consulting of customer test implementation and development
- Develop and present local seminars and customer training sessions
- Provide technical feedback to product developers
- Customer training and seminars
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Experience working with test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Vector Network Analyzers
- Knowledge of wireless technologies including LTE/5G/ RADAR/EW
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel in the region and occasional international travel
- Programming experience (C , LabVIEW, Python…)
