Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a new Business Development Manager based in our Columbia, MD office to help grow our IP Network Analytics business.

The total compensation for this position is $130K-$240K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.

Your tasks
- Acquire new customers and expand existing relationships for Network Analytics products.
- Proactively approach potential customers through market research, industry associations, trade shows, social media, and networks.
- Plan and conduct executive-level product demos and lead high-level contract negotiations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Network Analytics products.
- Collaborate with R&D to create tailored solutions and analyze market/competitive data for new opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with global IP network analytics technology trends and integrate into product roadmaps.
- Share expertise through content creation, internal networking, and knowledge transfer to various teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years' experience as development engineer, product manager or similar in development or research.
- Experience with IP network technology.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 50%.
- To be considered, candidates must be a US citizen or have permanent work authorization. Preferred
- Professional experience at an IP network analytics equipment vendor is an advantage.
- Enthusiasm for new technical trends and ambition to shape the future.
- Distinctive presentation and communication skills. References in terms of publications and conference speeches are preferable
