Role Description
The Project Coordinator (PC) is an introductory technical and operational role supporting the Project Management and Coordination components of RohmTek. Most of the skills required will be taught onsite. The position is a Full-Time role in the Houston Laboratory reporting to the Operations Director. The PC assists the project management personnel in maintaining the organization, administration, communication, and execution of tasks associated with the project management team. Every member of the RohmTek team may be required to work in multiple areas of the company at the direction of their manager or other company executives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the operations director and other project management personnel including executive team members, project managers, and subject matter experts in the operational and technical tasks associated with RohmTek project management.
- Assist in the scoping and design of projects for clients at the direction of the operations director including the production of quotes, estimates, concise explanations of services, etc.
- Setup new projects numbers and folder system according to RohmTek project management standards
- Work with PM to establish project workflow and timeline for each project submitted to RohmTek.
- Coordinate with Laboratory Supervisor and Laboratory Coordinators on project workflow for the lab operations to ensure projects are being executed on time.
- Template and QC laboratory data for project management consumption
- Communicate progress to PM on a daily basis
- Organize and compile all project management materials including initial inventory, work orders, chain of custody, inventory storage records, and sample disposition.
- Maintaining LIMS and PM software utilized and implemented by the PM Team.
