As a Lot Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lot, assisting with vehicle deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the lot clean and organized, ensuring vehicles are properly parked and displayed
- Wash and detail vehicles to maintain their appearance
- Assist with vehicle deliveries, including transporting vehicles to designated areas
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting customers as needed
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking vehicle locations and ensuring accurate records
- Support the sales team by moving vehicles to designated areas for test drives or display purposes
Skills:
- Strong retail math skills for accurately tracking inventory and sales
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Bilingual abilities (if applicable) to assist customers from diverse backgrounds
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for potential delivery driver duties
- Comfortable handling cash transactions and cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required
- Strong focus on guest services to ensure a positive customer experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
