Summary of Position
Rebuild Technician is responsible to perform maintenance, complete disassembly, inspection and rebuild of various driveline components. These components include transmissions, axles, gear boxes etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect various components to remove dirt, grease and debris.
- Disassemble mechanical components to access individual components, documenting the process for reassembly.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, and undercarriage.
- Conduct equipment inspections and make necessary repairs to ensure vehicles are in compliance.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company and MSHA/OSHA standards.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- 1-3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Must be able to pass a random drug screen and background check, as well as be fit for duty as required by FMCSA/DOT.
- Position is full time, and overtime may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
