We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our automotive service facility. Duties
- Manage the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels through effective demand planning and sourcing strategies.
- Oversee data entry processes for parts orders, receipts, and inventory management using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts requirements for automotive repairs and diagnostics.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Implement warehouse management best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting both internal teams and external customers with parts inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with inventory management systems.
