Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to support our sales team and ensure a seamless experience for our clients. The Sales Assistant will assist with customer inquiries, process orders, and provide administrative support to the sales team. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping customers find the right office solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team by creating quotes, managing orders, coordinating with vendors and customers, and overseeing scheduling and tracking.
- Maintain and update vendor catalogs as needed
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely and professional assistance.
- Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and product availability.
- Assist in marketing efforts such as promotions, social media updates, and email campaigns.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred).
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or office furniture sales is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
