What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLEARED Link 16 Test Engineer position at ROI Services LLC?
ROI Services, a rapidly growing small company in Huntsville, AL, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Link 16 Test Engineer to support the U.S. Army’s Network Design Facility (ANDF). The successful candidate will work in a lab environment and be responsible for executing system testing on existing tactical data link hardware as well as new hardware being considered for fielding. These systems are the tactical data link components for Army tactical C2 systems used in joint and multinational operations.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, revise, and execute test cases, to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements
- Use critical thinking to evaluate Problem Reports to determine impact to the Army
- Document and submit test case execution findings / issues to Senior Testers or Test Lead
- Validate existing interface system requirements supporting our host platforms through interoperability testing
- Test and validate emerging system interface capabilities for follow-on data link radios
- Support the development and validation for test cases to be used for interoperability testing
- Develop test procedures and metrics for higher-level acceptance testing
- Assess new hardware and software builds for future integration
