109k max salary (5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)
Summary / Objective
Perform as a Software Engineer supporting NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) in a team responsible for developing and maintaining system software requirements to ensure flight software performs correctly for its intended use.
Essential Functions
- Perform engineering planning and analysis spanning all phases of the system life cycle
- Perform review of decisional packages (to include but not limited to development practices, processes, and products) for the purpose of understanding and assessing their sufficiency and implementation of Agency requirements (i.e. NPR 7150.2) per the software classification
- Propose, develop, and maintain software requirements, software test plans and procedures
- Identify program software enhancements to system software.
- Identify, propose solutions to, and resolve issues with system software.
- Conduct testing and data analysis on any software changes made to the system
- Conduct peer reviews, prepare documents and software for project release spanning all phases of a software intensive system

Physical Demands
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8 hours with core hours from 9 : 00AM to 3 : 00PM.
Travel
Work is primarily local during the business day, however up to 10% travel may be expected.
Salary : $109,000
