Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering expertise in the area of science and technology development supporting NASA's Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Project Cross-System Integration (CSI) Team integrating Systems Engineering (SE) efforts across the core LTV SE team and the Insight / Oversight SE team.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Support cross-programmatic working groups / forums
• Interact with Programs for creation and documentation of operations definition, analysis cycle data coordination, function / requirement specific assessment, bi-lateral agreements, and issue resolution
• Perform technical integration across multiple NASA Centers, diverse engineering and program / project organizations, and a variety of engineering disciplines
• Perform critical mission event studies, process improvement studies, affordability improvement activities, or other studies focused on improving overall design, systems integration, systems operation or life cycle cost
• As necessary, coordinate Interface Requirement Document(s) (IRD) as well as Interface Control Document(s) (ICD) content to ensure the necessary and complete integration of requirements
• Facilitate cross program exchanges as needed (data, hardware, software)
